Dr. Gireeshan M. G., widely known as the “Kerala Edison,” is a pioneering Defence Technologist also with over 18 years of multidisciplinary experience spanning Electronics, Bioelectronics, Biomedical Engineering, and Advanced Defence Research. A prolific scientist and inventor, he has contributed to over 170 innovations, filed 43+ patents, and guided more than 2,700 academic and industrial projects.He holds the distinction of having developed India’s first indigenous electronic modules for Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGVs) in the Defence sector, marking a significant milestone in the country’s defence technology capabilities.
